TutorsBridge.co.uk is a web platform that connects students with high-quality and professional online Tutors who offer online lessons and host online-related events. TutorsBridge.co.uk is owned and operated by Joen Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under the company number 12965000. The registered address is 4, Waverly Close, Llandough, South Glamorgan, CF64 2PQ.
Lessons can be purchased via this Web Platform on the following terms. (Please see the Definitions div in clause 2 below for all capitalised terms.)
Our Terms of Use
These terms together with our Acceptable Use Policy (see appendix) tell you the rules for using our website www.TutorsBridge.co.uk and apply to all Users and Customers of our Web Platform.
By using our Web Platform you agree to comply with these terms and our Privacy Policy (www.TutorsBridge.co.uk/rules/data-handling).

Use of the Web Platform
Our Web Platform allows Tutors to advertise, market, sell and promote their services (Online Lessons). The terms vary depending on your use:
- General use: All Users are bound by these terms.
- Purchasing Online Lessons: You enter into a direct contractual relationship with the Tutor. We act solely as an intermediary and charge a Platform Fee.
- Third-party online supplier introduction: Special arrangements apply as per clause 14 (Covid-19 related).
Definitions
- Acceptable Use Policy
- Our acceptable use policy (appendix).
- Attendee
- Any person attending an Event.
- Customer
- A person purchasing Online Lessons, or a parent/guardian for a Student under 18.
- Online Lessons
- Includes Solo Lessons, Lesson Offers, and Group Lessons.
- Platform Fee
- Amount deducted from the Price in exchange for our Services.
- Price
- The total price paid for Online Lessons including Tutor Fee, Platform Fee, Service Fee.
- Web Platform
- https://TutorsBridge.co.uk
- Tutor
- Professional, self-employed online Tutor using the Web Platform to market their Online Lessons.
- User
- Any person that uses the Web Platform, including Customers, Students, and Attendees.
Community Standards
- Be responsible for safety of yourself and children under 18.
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and post legal, non-abusive content.
- Use the Web Platform only to deliver or receive the services offered.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and confirm payments in advance.
- Use our payment system for all transactions.
- Do not attempt to circumvent the Web Platform for bookings.
- Ensure punctuality and proper conduct during lessons or events.
Pricing & Solo Lesson Blocks
Prices include Tutor Fee, Platform Fee, Service Fee, and applicable taxes.
Solo Lesson Blocks can be purchased in multiples (5, 10, 20, 40) with specific terms:
- Valid for 12 months, unused lessons expire.
- Satisfaction guarantee with potential £3 refund charge.
- Flexible scheduling and automatic renewal options.
Payment
Payments are made via Tide, securely using SSL. Split payment options are available for large purchases.
Bookings, Cancellations, and Complaints
Terms vary by lesson type:
- Solo Lessons: Cancellation with <24h notice=no refund; Tutor cancellations are refunded.
- Group Lessons: 14-day cancellation window applies.
- Lesson Offers: 14-day cancellation period; refund subject to Service Fee.
- Events: No cancellation right; Tutor cancellations are refunded.
Safeguarding and Child Protection
DSL: Alex Wibrew (alex@TutorsBridge.co.uk). Tutors must adhere to safeguarding, conduct, and lone working policies.
Liability & Intellectual Property
- We are not liable for Tutor-Student contracts.
- We retain ownership of intellectual property; Users grant us licence to submitted content.
Changes & General
- These terms take effect 5th Septermber 2025 and may be updated.
- Entire agreement between you and us; governed by English law.
Covid-19 Third-Party Online Services
Special arrangements apply for students using third-party online platforms during Covid-19. TutorsBridge provides technology and administrative support only.
Acceptable Use Policy
- No unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.
- No spam, viruses, or terrorist content.
- Follow content standards: accurate, lawful, non-defamatory, non-offensive.
- Interactive services may be moderated; parental consent required for minors.
